Regina Martin, Records Manager at Howard County Government from Columbia, Maryland discusses the challenges of being a records manager in a local government operation. Regina and her team still work with a lot of paper.  In fact, they scan over 1 million pages of paper every year; and this is on top of also managing a variety of electronic files. But perhaps most interesting is to hear Regina describe how Howard County is now ingesting audio files from 911 calls, and how those are records. She describes some of the challenges there.

Rikkert Engles joins the show as well. Rikkert is a member of the AIIM leadership council and CEO and Founder Xillio based in the Netherlands. He shares his advice and recommendations for migrating to and leveraging the Microsoft Teams environment, and says that the launch of Cortex in MS365 is perhaps the most important development to watch this year.

Host, Kevin Craine
